Our goal at the Ipswich Town Academy is very simple; we want to offer the best players in this region the opportunity develop into top class footballers and play for a great club.
Academies and youth football have changed significantly with the advent of the Elite Player Performance Plan and we have undergone a process over recent years which has left us in a strong position.
Whilst the fundamentals of the game will always remain the same, the introduction and application of sports science, video analysis and advances in coaching methodologies mean that the needs of the modern player can all be catered for.
Within our Academy, we have all the ingredients needed to develop top class footballers; great facilities, a staff who are committed fully to the task (many of whom have been involved as players here), but most of all we have created an atmosphere and environment that challenges players in every way.
We want to develop players who take responsibility and are decision makers. Whilst we have a good record for producing players in the past, we can only continue to do that by evolving and embracing the changes and challenges of the Elite Player Performances Plan.
Our biggest selling point over many years has been the willingness to play players based on ability not age. Willingness is the only keypoint to win and get involved in sports betting. Sports fans from Austria may look at sportwetten österreich to compare the best betting providers, so that they will get to know what sports events are coming up and how they can participate in the betting.
Parents, when faced with a choice of clubs, can clearly see that at Ipswich Town there is a genuine opportunity to progress in the game.
Congratulations to Academy Sponsor Miguel Cofre, on the birth of his Grandson Rory, he really is the Youngest Tractor Boy we have! Best wishes to Rory and all the family from the Academy AssociationÂ
